VBI is seeking a IT Portfolio Analyst to support multiple Healthcare IT projects, in the Philadelphia, PA area.
Responsibilities:
- Collector and provider of information across a portfolio.
- Conducts analysis to understand trends, overall health.
- Assists in dissemination of portfolio views by accessing tools creating and maintaining common portfolio views.
- Assists in the creation of a training curriculum for the team on project management and governance methodology, as well as incorporating project management best practices.
- Assists in the execution of training for program and project managers.
- Develops, populates, and maintains a consolidated framework for reporting on the portfolio’s health to clearly build awareness around the budget, scope, resource and schedule standings of each of the portfolio’s projects
- Develops materials used for raising enterprise awareness of the department and its offerings.
- Conducts interviews with program and project managers to collect and analyze data pertaining to the scope, timeline, project interdependencies, budget, issues, and risks for the projects in the portfolio.
- Maintains Project Manager On-boarding documentation.
- Assists in the on-boarding process of new program and project managers, as well as project support.
- Not responsible for the execution of the projects.
Required Qualifications:
- BS Information technology or Equivalent
- Critical Thinking Skills
- Develops materials used for raising enterprise awareness of the department and its offerings.
- Conducts interviews with program and project managers to collect and analyze data pertaining to the scope, timeline, project interdependencies, budget, issues, and risks for the projects in the portfolio
- Maintains Project Manager On-boarding documentation.
- Assists in the on-boarding process of new program and project managers, as well as project support.
- Not responsible for the execution of the projects.
- 7+ years of IT work experience; Four or more years managing infrastructure projects in a management, supervisory/ manager capacity; Four or more years managing infrastructure projects with team members located in different countries
- Demonstrated experience in developing solid working relationships and establishing a high level of credibility across global cultures, functions and lines of business and infrastructure domains (voice and data networks, contact and service center, data center infrastructure and operations, information security and protection)
- Strong communication skills including obtaining buy-in for ideas, driving project implementation, presenting progress, risks and impacts to various levels of the organization within a multi-functional, multi-national organization
